While a Sonos Amp can power the HS12T Sub, it is not the recommended amplifier for this subwoofer. To ensure the HS12T delivers the deep, impactful bass it was engineered for, we strongly recommend pairing it with a dedicated, high-power subwoofer amplifier, such as a Sonance DSP 2-150 MKIII (BBY SKU# 6562194). • A:Answer Hi, Thank you for your question. Yes, you can pair the HS12T subwoofer with the Mariner 86 speakers. Please keep in mind that this subwoofer is a passive sub and will require a separate amplifier to power it. Also, it's important to note that when installing the subwoofer, you must locate the tap settings on the bottom and switch it from 70-volt to 8-ohm. The HS12T subwoofer ships in 70-volt mode for use with 70-volt amplifiers. More information on changing the tap settings can be found in the owner's manual. Q: QuestionAre these the exact same speakers as the ones in MAGROCKS2.1 kit (besides the Subwoofer) ??
