“Can the subwoofer be placed on its side or does it need to be upright?”

Hi, You could lay the subwoofer on its side. However, you may experience the subwoofer moving or making unwanted noise. The attached rubber feet on the bottom of the sub prevent the subwoofer from moving around due to vibration. I hope you found this information helpful.
