Hi, Thank you for your question. The Sonance MAG6.1 is not solar powered or rechargeable. It’s a wired landscape audio system that’s powered by a Sonos Amp (included in the box). The six satellite speakers and in-ground sub connect back to the Sonos Amp using speaker wire. If you’d like a simpler, plug-and-play wiring option, Sonance offers an optional MAG6.1 Outdoor Speaker Wiring Harness that’s sold separately. I hope you found this information helpful.
