“Hi. Is the bottom portion of the amp to be buried with only the “mushroom " exposed, or is the top portion to be exposed only? TIA.”

Hi, Thank you for your question! The MAG 6.1 subwoofer is designed to be partially buried. When installing, dig a hole approximately 12 inches in diameter and 11 inches deep, and place the subwoofer so that about 5 inches of the enclosure remains above ground. The exposed “mushroom” top (bass port) should stay clear of soil, mulch, or debris to allow proper bass output. This installation method conceals the subwoofer while maintaining optimal acoustic performance. You can find a helpful diagram in the owner’s manual showing the recommended depth and orientation.
