“Can you add additional speakers to the amp or is what comes with the package all it can handle? For instance, I would like to put this system around my pool and add 2-4 more speakers on my deck.”

Honestly you should add another Amp. This system is designed for the power output of this amp. If you load it with more speakers you will tax the amp causing premature failure or wear. In my opinion I would add another amp and stack them. -Brian-

Adding additional speakers to this system may damage the Sonos amplifier. I suggest looking at our Sonance Garden Series system if you need additional speakers to cover a larger area. This system is a step up from the MAG6.1 system and comes with (8) two-way satellite speakers, a larger10" subwoofer, and (1) SR 2-125 amplifier. If needed, this system is expandable to (16) satellite speakers and (2) 10" subwoofers powered off a single SR-2-125 amplifier. You choose the source for this system. If Sonos is your preferred source, you would need to add a Sonos Port to the system. I'll put a link to the product below.
