“Hello, while i know these are weatherproof, in NE we can get a few feet of snow on the ground for months at a time... would these speakers hold up to many years of this? Would covering them be helpful or recommended during the cold winter snow months?”

You will be fine using these. I would suggest upgrading the connections in the daisy chain to water proof heat shrink rather than the water proof wire caps it comes with. Your wire will last longer and have a better chance of preventing corrosion through your wire run.
