“Our current layout would put the subwoofer at the very end of the daisy chain (~200ft) with a 30 foot gap after the first 3 speakers. Is it possible to not daisy chain everything and use the subwoofer as a junction and then run a 14/4 wire to each side?”

I would follow the suggested daisy loop. You can split both ways as long as one end is at the amp for termination and your splitting left and right channels. That’s all that really matters.
