Hi, Thank you for your question. With the MAG6.1 system, the subwoofer doesn’t need to be placed in the exact center of the daisy chain. You can connect it at the end or at any point along the speaker-wire run without impacting the Sonos Amp’s performance. The system is designed to maintain proper impedance and operate safely in either configuration. For the best listening experience, we still recommend placing the subwoofer in a location that provides even bass coverage in your outdoor space; However, both wiring options work just fine.
