“Drop ceiling question. I'm adding two speakers to bring my basement home theatre to 7.1 Dolby Atmos. wondering if I need to do anything special for the drop ceiling with these?”

• For a drop ceiling I would recommend a safety line to the actual ceiling just in case. Other than that the speaker is not so heavy that you would require a sheet metal bridge support between the t-bar. I have done that back in my commercial install days but those speakers are a little bigger and heavier.
