Hi JAL, Thanks for your question. The MAG6R speakers are not designed to be used in areas that would expose them to excessive heat, cold, water, moisture, etc. Installing the speakers in a place that is open to outside elements could shorten the expected usable life of the speaker, so we do not recommend installing/exposing them to these environments.
