I have my Sonos amp outside under my back patio. It’s in shade most of the day and it powers my speakers under my patio as well as my weatherproof speakers by the pool.

Hi, Thank you for your question. Sonos Amp is not weatherproof and should be protected from outdoor elements. A garage is a good option as long as the amp is protected from freezing, extreme heat and moisture. I hope you found this information helpful.
