- Answer Hi, Thank you for your question. These speakers are designed to withstand temperatures from -13° to 149°F. You can cover them if you would like; however, it's unnecessary. You can use them during the winter months when the outside temperature is above freezing (40°F or higher.) Finally, I would recommend bringing the speakers inside before the temperature reaches or drops below -13°. If they do reach freezing temperatures, allow the speakers time to defrost thoroughly before using them. Damage can occur if the speaker is frozen and you attempt to play them. QuestionI have this set installed already. I also just bought the Sonance Magrocks 2.1 speakers. Will I be able to connect the Magrocks to my same Sonos Amp, or will I need to buy a 2nd amp? Thanks

- Answer You will be able to connect to current amp just be aware that you are splitting the power the more speakers you use. Try it out and see if you like the sound, not everyone blasts their speakers.

QuestionAre these Sonos speakers... or are they speakers made by a different company that connect to a Sonos amp?

- Answer Sonos outdoor speakers are made by this same company Sonance. Both the Sonos and Sonance speakers have the same casing and size profile. The main difference between the two is the audio ranges. Sonos has 55 Hz to 20 kHz. This speaker has 65 Hz to 30 kHz.

QuestionWhat AWG/gauge speaker wire is needed to run this system? I know it has to be outdoor rated. Does anyone have recommendation?

- Answer Hi, Thank you for your question. We recommend choosing wire size based on the distance between the amp to the furthest speaker. Here are our recommendations: 18 gauge - For distances up to 100 feet 16 gauge - For distances up to 150 feet 14 gauge - For distances up to 250 feet As a best practice, we recommend 14/4 direct-burial speaker wire be used. - Answer Hi, The speakers in all three systems are the same. The package change was due to the change over from Sonos Connect Amp to Sonos Amp. The additional change was due to the discontinuation of the XPRESS keypad. I hope you found this information helpful. QuestionCan the amp be used and stored outdoors in a cabinet away from direct rain or snow ?

- Answer In theory yes, aslong as it would not get wet from anything, you would also need to make sure the power cord doesn't get wet either. I had mine installed in my basement and did a direct line to the internet. The Best buy crew installed and drilled a hole about a quarter inch, which the wires run through and then you need to caulk it. They ran everything under my deck and no wires show.

QuestionHow many of the Sonance MAG Series speakers can be driven by a single Sonos amp? Could I have four lined into a single a Sonos amp? Hoping to buy two bundles and use 4 speakers + 1 amp outdoors and use the leftover amp for existing in-ceilings inside.

QuestionI have a half an acre of land and wondering if this system would cover the area or would I need additional speakers

- Answer I have half an acre as well, my backyard is very wide but only about 30 feet in length. The system can be heard very well across the entire yard and can even be heard out front. They sound great and it’s one of the best deals out there IMO.

- Answer Feed the audio from your TV into a Sonos Beam or Arc. You can then set up the group to include that sound bar and add the Amp (which feeds the 2 outdoor speakers via an 18/2 wire.). On your app, you can control the volume of the TV broadcast on both the sound bar (or turn that all the way down if you want) and the speakers (which will appear as Amp).

- Answer Absolutely…I have SONOS speakers in my kitchen and dining room and just set up SONANCE outdoor speakers on my patio. I specifically use my SONOS AMP to power my outdoor speakers. All of SONOS speakers, to include my AMP, are all controlled through the SONOS application…it’s very easy to use.

The most notable differences are in frequency response, grille pattern, and the Sonos speaker can be recognized by the Sonos software allowing you to custom-tune the sound using their Trueplay technology. QuestionThe "Features" section lists the following: 250W total power handling at 8 ohms Then below it says that "Peak power handling 80 watts" which is it? What can these speakers handle? I was told and was sold 2 bundles on the basis they handle 250W

- Answer The Sonos amp can power up to 250W, however the speakers have roughly 80W peak handling each which is roughly 160W when combined. The handling on the Sonos is much greater because it can handle 2 pairs of speakers according to the manufacturer.
