Hi, Thank you for your question. We recommend choosing wire size based on the distance between the amp to the furthest speaker. Here are our recommendations: 18 gauge - For distances up to 100 feet 16 gauge - For distances up to 150 feet 14 gauge - For distances up to 250 feet As a best practice, we recommend 14/4 direct-burial speaker wire be used. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The wire size really depends on the distance of the run. I typically use 14 gauge stranded copper for all my speakers. If you’re running more than 80 feet I would recommend using 12 gauge stranded copper.
