Hi, Thank you for your question. There are a few differences between the Sonance MAG06 and the Sonos OUTDRWW1 by Sonance. The most notable differences are in frequency response, grille pattern, and the Sonos speaker can be recognized by the Sonos software allowing you to custom-tune the sound using their Trueplay technology. While you mentioned slightly different sound range specs, this is not the whole story and much less important in my opinion as it relates to using these with a sonos amp. The IMPORTANT difference is that architectural OUTDRWW1 will be recognized by the Sonos amp for trueplay tuning/optimization and the OUTDRWW1 as part of the architectural range allows you to add up to 6 speakers to 1 sonos amp,
