We already have Sonance speakers installed in our ceiling. Can these be easily installed after the fact as a retrofit? Would doing so require patching / painting in the drywall? null

These enclosures install very easily. You should not have any problems removing existing speakers to install these without damaging your walls or ceilings

No, this will be an easy install. You will need to remove the speaker, but they will come down easily when removed properly. Just a simple screwdriver to turn the lever to release them. After that is is a breeze. I had to do this exact thing.
