Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does not have an enclosure so it will fit into a 4” wall. It would certainly fit in a ceiling. They are directional so they will sound more balanced if you are further away. Any ceiling speaker will be louder if you’re right under it. If you are using them as main speakers your sound stage should be in front of you. If they’re for ambient background music placement is not as critical. I have mine in a 6” deep wall and I’m very happy with the sound.
