• The Playbar will ultimately be replaced by the Sonos Arc from a sales availability perspective. However, the Playbar will continue to receive new features and updates and continue to be a great soundbar! If you want voice, Atmos, and a more powerful speaker array then upgrading to the Arc might be the right thing for you!

• Yes, this is the replacement for the Soundbar. It has more drivers, more processing power, Alexa or Google Assistant built-in, and Dolby Atmos. So yes, it is better.
