“Just setup my Arc and it is working perfectly, but I was wondering what happens if the internet drops out? Can I still use it to watch cable tv or does the entire speaker stop working.”

If you lose WiFi you will not be able to control the speaker with your mobile device. The ARC is still connected to your TV via a cable. So you are still able to use it as you would normally.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.normally you connect a sound bar to the TV via HDMI ARC or eARC or optical. Those do not require Internet or even network connectivity. You only need the local network and Internet for controlling from your phone and streaming music from the Internet.
