Technically yes but it’s no the preferred setup. I did this in a pinch when my old PLAY:BAR had issues. I connected the PLAY:5 to the TV using a 3.5mm cable and pair it to my SUB. I then grouped it with a pair of PLAY:1 in the rear. This will only play in stereo, not surround sound.
