It has a HDMI ARC cable converter to digital optical cable, wattage is unknown but plenty loud for most rooms plus it has a great app for iPhone to adjust sound volume per room dynamics using bluetooth but is not a bluetooth speaker apple airplay works good.

If the TV does not have a HDMI ARC port or you choose not to use it, the Sonos Beam comes with an HDMI to Optical adapter which allows you to connect into the Optical port on a television. Sonos does not specify wattage on any of its power speakers. This speaker is designed for smaller to mid-sized rooms.
