“Can this work with Sonos sound only and not include the TV?”

• It should work the same as any other Sonos speaker. It integrates with the Sonos app. The built in Alexa feature is nice too. Works/plays well with other Alexa devices in house. It’s just a bonus to have it connected with HDMI to TV. It sends and received signal from TV and, in my opinion, made the sound a lot better.

• Yes. But if you’re not going to use it in conjunction with a TV, there are probably better Sonos options for you to consider. If you’re looking to listen to music now then later add a TV it might make sense.

• The Sonos Beam is a speaker for your television or a music speaker that performs the same as the other Sonos speakers in our lineup.

• Yes, this can be used to listen to music with the Sonos app. It can be grouped together with any other Sonos speakers you own via the Sonos app, too.
