In the app with beam connected there are settings that enhance voices when selected

There's an option for voice loudness in the sonos app. It shows up when it's connected to a TV and you're watching something. The sonos app has a lot of features, try playing around the app and tweaking the equalizer to your preference.

The Beam has a special Speech Enhancement capability that improves the clarity of dialog. I think you will be very happy with the improvement in sound with this feature turned on.
