“We are trying to set up are new Somos beeam and wireless speakers. We have an older Smart TV. The app is telling us we need HDMI arc which we do not have. Our sales person never mentioned this TV requirement. Please advise, feeling frustrated.”

• If you have an "Optical Out" port on your TV, you can use an optical cable and the optical to HDMI adapter that comes with Beam. Then you can plug your TV into the HDMI port on the Beam

• Hi, and thank you for you question. If you don't have an ARC port, you can use the Optical to HDMI dongle that's included in the box and plug it into the optical port on the back of your tv!
