Personally I would choose the Sonos beam because I think it is great. You will need to download the Sonos app so you can connect it to your WiFi and for it to update and get automatic updates. It connects to your TVs hdmi arc port so that you can use your remote for volume or with the included adapter to your TVs optical out port. You will need to download the app to set it up. If you do not like it, you can just return it and get the new Bose.

The third channel is the center channel which is where all of the dialog comes from. Another great feature our customers love is our speech enhance mode. When turned on in the Sonos app (very easy to turn on, it looks like a speech box) it turns up just the center channel. So if you'd like to hear what is being said better, but don't want to turn up the volume and make everything else louder, you can turn this feature on. Which is great for the bedroom TV.
