As long as it stays dry I don’t see why not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it would be okay as with any electronic it’s probably not going to last as long due to the humidity more than heat. I will say I’ve been a big sonos fan for years but I just recently bought the whole new bundle for over $1,000 and I’m not happy with it. The sonos app keeps losing the speakers so every other day I’m having to reset the whole thing and start over.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So far my unit has run cool. But it’s on a mantle of an unused fireplace in NY. So it hasn’t been subjected to high heat and humidity yet. However, I will say that my experience with other Sonos units has been that they tend to run hot and do not like being inside cabinets. At high volume for prolonged time, they heat up and clip to prevent failure. So smalle cooler fans have helped. Most electronics do not like heat and humidity generally. So you may consider some kind of cooking method and near by dehumidifier.
