Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Whenever I find users wanting to have Sonos with no WIFI, the best bit of advice is to set up the speaker using your phone as a HOTSPOT. When the speaker is first turned on and set up, it usually needs to call out to Sonos and likely will need an update. After the initial update and HDMI audio has been tested, be sure to verify your TV audio output is going to the Beam and when it receives a signal via HDMI, you should be getting audio from the Beam rather than the TV. One thing to keep in mind... Because the Beam is just functioning as a separate, "disconnected" speaker, you will lose out on any of the other features of Sonos (music library, music services, etc.) If you're cool with that then go for it! While it's not the ideal setting for Sonos.
