BEAM only supports the keyword "ALEXA", so you have to change the keyword for the other echo products to something besides "ALEXA" (like "Computer" or "Echo") or else it will not know which device you are trying to connect to. Right now, you can not change the keyword for BEAM from "ALEXA"
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can disable Alexa from beam if it’s interfering with your other Alexa product. But usually if you have two Alexa products in one room both will activate but only one will answer if it senses another Alexa is in the room.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same set-up. You can go to the Alexa ap online and re-name (change the wake word) each device so you can avoid activating multiple devices at onece.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would change the wake word on the echo to amazon. That way you would say amazon to the echo and Alexa to the beam. I don’t think the wake word to the beam can be changed.
