“I am looking to get this speaker but I currently do not use my tv would I be able to still use it? I tend to use my monitor to cast what ever I watch. Thanks”

• Does you computer have HDMI hookup? If not you will have to cast everything with Bluetooth or thru the Sonos app

• The Beam can absolutely be used as a stand alone speaker without a television connected. If you are wanting to use the Beam for sound with the content you are playing on your monitor, the monitor (or the source connected to it) would need a HDMI ARC or digital optical output that would be plugged in to the Beam.
