According to the Manual for your M50-E1 you can connect via ARC or Optical. I used the ARC setup for my Beam/Visio P50 installation. Works like a charm.

Yes, that particular TV has an HDMI ARC point - use that.

You'll need to either use the HDMI port that's labeled 'ARC' on the TV to connect to the soundbar, or use the audio output of the TV with an extra SPDIF to TOSLINK adapter.

It needs either an optical or an HDMI-ARC port. You need to look at the manual or just google it.

The Beam connects through an HDMI port. If your TV has an HDMI (ARC) output or an optical/digital connection it will work fine with the beam. Hope this helps.
