“Looking into a sound bar to avoid our two year old blasting the tv volume which she currently does with the current Roku remote. Are we able to not sync it to the remote so that when she pushes those buttons it doesn't blow out our speakers?”

You can control the volume with your tv remote if watching. If you’re just listening to music the volume is controlled from the app

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Blasting the sound answer..... YES and NO..... our speaker is also synced to the TV and controlled by the current sound setting. And when you increase or decrease the sound via our remote you get the corresponding response on the sound bar. But if your are able to lock the remote to a specific sound level via parental settings then you might be able to control the volume. I am not familiar with parental options available on products.
