Yes I believe it has a line in and so the the sonos play 5 my understanding is they both can play line in thru out system
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is feasible although the "network connected stereo receiver" does not need the network function for this to work. You can use a Sonos Connect to input the analog source into your Sonos network and another Sonos Connect to output that sound to any of the compatible inputs of your stereo receiver in the other side of the house. Some UPNP network receivers might be capable to capture and decode the content from your Sonos network but you can always use the two Sonos Connect arrangement with any older equipment.
