Yes. CONNECT:AMP does not send wireless audio to speakers. There are a couple of ways around this, but they cost more and the results would probably be worse. The simplest way would be to purchase wireless outdoor speakers. Use the SONOS CONNECT (not the CONNECT:AMP) to connect to your SONOS/WiFi network. The output from the CONNECT would have to go into a Bluetooth sending unit to connect to your outdoor speakers.

You also should connect the amp via Cat 5 cable for connectivity and control from your phone. You can use the boost for the WiFi but just connect it hardline for better connectivity with no lag time it will still be part of your WiFi network. Hope this helps
