Each Sonos speaker has its own power amplifiers built in so they require to be plugged into 110 voltage. The Move and Roam have internal battery power built in and can be taken on the go…

Hi, and thank you for your question. Our products are powered by a wall outlet. We have two portable speakers (Roam, and Move) that are battery powered.
