How can this device, with nobody home, no pets; empty house.....just turn on by itself. At full volume & playing a type of music I would NEVER listen to ?? This happened to me while I was at work. null

I saw your question and decided to test something. I hit the Alexa widget on my phone and told it to play something on Sonos and it did at my house. Maybe your Alexa button on your mobile device got hit and it thought it heard you say something that made it play music at home.

The device is app enabled through the Sonos app. Perhaps you turned it on with your phone in your pocket accidentally, or, possibly, some one has hacked your Sonos account.

Check your alrams in settings and make sure you don't have any set. I'll wake up before my alarm goes off and forget to trun my alarm off. It will still go off at it's set time wether I'm home or not.

Maybe someone gained access to your home WiFi network. That is known to happen.

It goes off an array of music u liked or ever listen too or a friend listened to it’s more of a suggestion !!.

Via Sonos application. Someone can login to sonos and start playing music remotely. Change your password.
