Play 1 Play 3 Play 5 Any of these will work but I'd go with play 1 as the others will be over the top.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can buy more Sonos speakers and they will be compatible, but they only work together with Sonos speakers. I have about 15 of them around my house. For outdoors near moisture the Play 1s are probably better but if there is no moisture the Play 5s are probably the best sounding speakers. Also when I say moisture I don't mean waterproof, so don't leave them out in the rain.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can add any sonos speaker (or wired speaker with addition of Sonos CONNECT) to your current Sonos system. You add speakers through the app on your smartphone, tablet, or computer in the main settings menus--very simple set up. You cannot add a different brand wireless speaker, however. Sonos will not integrate with other WiFi speakers.
