“Each unit comes with a power cord. However all the pictures show the units sitting without a power cord in view. Is the unit battery powered also?”

• No the speakers are not battery powered. They must be plugged in at all times. Given their size though, I’ve found it very easy to find good places for them :-)

• Can't speak to the pictures, but yes, you need to plug each speaker into an outlet. No battery powered versions that I know of.
