I would try two of them first, you can always add more if it isn't loud enough. I have two paired to act in stereo, and it gets very loud, though my room is less than 1/4 of yours. I still think it would be loud enough with just two -- which of course depends on how loud you like to jam. You can add as many as you want to your set up, and play the same music and control the volume together. For four speakers, you would create two groups, with a pair of stereo speakers per group. It will work well, they will be synced up - however if your network goes out you will probably need to re-"group" them. This takes about 5 seconds in the application.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe two of these would be plenty for that size space. They wouldn't blow you out the door but they pump out a lot of clean, powerful sound. They're very configurable so you could set them as a stereo pair or two separate speakers playing the same thing or playing separate things. You could add any number of extra units... two stereo pairs, four or five (or ten) separate speakers (which by the way, output stereo sound themselves when not configured in a stereo pair). There's really no limit to how they can be set up (if you have enough money). The other smaller models sound great too but these have the biggest sound. You will have to have strong wifi or Ethernet internet access wherever you install them. Won't work without it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They will interact. But at 4k sq ft, you may want to get a Sonos Connect stand alone bridge with some other speakers. Same functionality, but more powerful speakers for your space.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you can link as many as you want on the same system or play them individually. the system works on Wi-Fi and you will need the Sonos link or boost to connect them all. I have 3 different Sonos ( play bar, sub and play 5). the app helps links all the speakers up or customize to meet your needs. as for the speakers ...the number you need is hard to say cause it's all about the acoustics in your building. i will habe to say that the quality and power that the bar and sub out did another brand "B" which I have 6 speakers and sun with a professional installation!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would think that two would work for that size area. The ability to link them and move them around/apart is amazing.
