Can I ad play 2 play 5's with my sound bar and my play 3's null

Yes you can do just about anything wuth sonos

I came in to ask if I can add a play 5 or more to my existing 5.1 surround sonos. They said only the play bar, the subb, and 2 extra speakers (play 1 l, play 3, or play 5). Or you can do a combo of 3 of plays. If you aren't connecting to home theatre you can group as many as you want.

I've added play 2s and play 5s to my Sonos soundbar. The app makes it very easy and the sound is good.

You can add as many speakers to the system. I have a total of 8 so far.

Yes you can. Any Sonos speaker will link to another Sonos speaker. You can even link to other speakers using the Connect. I have my Paradigms and dedicated amps connected to the whole Sonos system. Ceiling speakers are connected to the Sonos system using the Amp.

Yes as long as you have the Bridge, you can add up to 45 speakers to it. Sonos is amazing!!

I believe you are asking if you can add two Play:5s to a room currently configured with a Playbar and two Play:3s? The answer is no. I currently have my living room configured with the Sonos Boost, Playbar, Sub, and two Play:3s. I tried to add the Play:5, but it would not allow it. Sonos will only go to 5.1 and only allow one stereo pair of the same speakers in a single room (i.e.. a pair of Play:1s, 3s, or 5s). I put the single Play:5 in my master bedroom for now, until I save enough for another. Then I will move the pair of Play:5s to my living room, and the pair of Play:3s to my master bedroom.

If you already know how to add other Sonos, you can do the same with new Play5. But you must first update all your current system to late update.
