• If you would like to have surround sound in a home theater configuration, you would need x2 One/OneSL or Fives. The Roam cannot be used as surround sound speakers.

• You could use the Roam system to pair two speakers in a surround system, but they would have to stay permanent. Roams are meant for being portable. Once they are taken off wi-fi, powered off, or used via Bluetooth, they will disconnect from each other and you will lose the surround. There are much better options if you're looking for pairing and surround.
