Youll get more than enough bass from the mini....unless you want the walls to shake! If its an extemely large room, perhaps i might go bigger.

When synched, the sub takes over responsibility (& more capably so) for the lower-end base from the speakers, freeing up more range. However, if you are using five’s or 300’s, it’s likely the room is large enough to handle the full-size Sonos Sub (which is indisputably better, deeper and more capable of fuller base) and we don’t buy Sonos for mediocrity.
