Technically there is no need for the sub. You may want to consider one down the road as it significantly improves the sound. For just music, depending on what you have in the walls, it may sound fine. However for home theatre, the sub reall makes a difference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think you should be able to use it without a subwoofer it just sounds a whole lot better for the theater system with one That's the reason you buy one of these theater system so that you get the whole sound just like being at a theater I've had mine for years
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just fine without. Does need a powered subwoofer, doesn't do much with my old passive ones.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You dont need it for your speakers to work. Purchasing a subwoofer all depends on your preference. It all depends on what type of speakers you already have installed, and how much bass they produce. But, that being said my speakers work great without a subwoofer but... I will be purchasing a subwoofer to add to my setup only to give me more fullness and thump with my setup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use it without a subwoofer but you will be missing out on some deep bass especially for surround sound theatre.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Thomas, Using a subwoofer is optional although we recommend to connect one to use its full capabilities and for top of the line sound experience. Regards, ~Ralph
