“I've found how to make the stereo turn on and off with the tv remote, but this is not what I want. I want the tv to turn on and off with the stereo remote. I have everything running through the stereo and then the stereo to the tv.”

I followed your link and my stereo display does not show up on the TV. I checked that the connection between the stereo and TV are both plugged into the (ARC) port. My TV setup was different than what the link showed, but I found my booklet and read through it. Everything is set to the way the booklet suggests to make the stereo remote turn on and off the TV, but nothing. I am still required to use the TV remote. Thank you for your help though
