“When I watch the TV and switch to the Bluetooth on the receiver the TV screen switches to a blank screen displaying connected device and I am unable to watch TV. Is there a way to watch TV and use the Bluetooth through the receiver?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think there is a way to do this. You have to be on the bluetooth input to hear your device, and the bluetooth input shows the device info on the screen.

Please try again later.If you connect your cable box to the TV directly and then use an optical cable to connect from the TV out into the Sony receiver then you can do both. You are going to need to select from the TV remote the HDMI port coming from the cable box. On the receiver you switch the selector to Bluetooth
