Let me clarify - I have two of JBL Arena 170 tower speakers that can handle 20 - 200 watt from Amplifier. So how does it matter since the amplifier can provide 145 per channel. Even if I turn full volume, both speakers and amplifier should not be affected. Having 8 ohm impedance draws less current from the amplifier circuit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Sandeep, no, as per specification front speaker should be 145 W and center speaker is 145 W, 6ohms is recommended. Use of higher watts is not recommended cause it may trigger the protection circiut of the amplifier if you turn the volume to maximum. Please see details here: https://docs.sony.com/release//SPECS/STRDH770_mksp.pdf. Regards, Erin
