Hi Customer, You won't be able to watch TV and listen to music at the same time. The AV Receiver will prioritize what would you pick first. This receiver doesn't have zoning function.Check this link for more information. https://docs.sony.com/release//SPECS/STRDH770_mksp.pdf Regards, -David
