Hit the amp menu button on remote, you'll see the display change, then hit either the "up" or "down" until you see EQ displayed. Then hit the main enter/ok button and I think bass comes right up, then hit enter again, and up and down will change bass level up to +10. same for treble(which you'll get to after by scrolling past bass). When doing the easy set up/ auto calibration, turn the volume knob on your subwoofer to just under half way, per manual, it will adjust better later, I recalibrated mine, as my woofer had been close to max during initial calibration. If your subwoofer is pretty new and has a standby mode or something, there is an additional step or two you can find in manual, for better calibration.
