“Do you know if this has any "auto-on" sensing capability? I want to use this as a secondary amp in a whole home setup, where it turns on when an input is sensed? I hate the idea of powering an amp when there is no output coming out.”

• It will with HDMI, but you wont be using that in a whole house audio setup...
