We have some inbuilt speakers in our home which previous tenant left. These speakers are mounted on ceiling. My question is that will this receiver work only on Sony speakers or can work on any speakers null

Yes, it is possible to use other speakers, we only recommend making sure to take in consideration the impedance, watts and gauge of the speaker wires used, so you don't damage the unit.
