“Can the receiver be controlled through an app on a iPhone? If so, can the main power be turned on and off and can you control A and B speakers through an app?. I want to be able to go between my family room speakers (A) and outside speakers (B).”

I looked in the Apple App Store and didn’t find anything compatible. Probably a good thing; none of the apps were rated very high because they all had issues of compatibility with certain phones. I’d suggest a universal remote .
