“I have always been able to play music from my phone via bluetooth to just my zone 2 speakers. I can still play music from my phone to my main 5 speakers but not my zone 2 speaker?I am doing the same thing I always have done on my STRDN1080? no headphones”

My receiver is connected to my tv through HDMI (ARC). I use both my phone and computer to play music using Airplay. I am able to play the same music in both zones when doing so, but I have to use the on-screen menu to set up music in Zone 2. Be careful, though. Once you turn on Zone 2 using the on-screen menu, be sure to turn it off as well. I turned off the receiver, thinking it would stop playing everything. Zone 1 turned off, but Zone 2 kept playing even with the receiver turned off. Bring up the HOME menu and select "Zone Control". Then in the Zone Control menu, turn Zone 2 on and select the source you want. So scroll down to Bluetooth for the source if you are connecting your phone to the receiver through Bluetooth.
